Utica, NY — Sandra Soroka, Executive Director of the Neighborhood Center was honored as one of five area leaders recognized for their hard work and dedication to the Mohawk Valley Communities at the Women’s Power of the Purse through The Women’s Fund of Herkimer and Oneida Counties, Inc.
Sandra is an astounding leader and has been the Executive Director at The Neighborhood center since 2008. Prior to that role she started as a SPFY Supervisor (caseworker) and by 2001 became the Assistant Executive Director. Sandra has been with the agency since 1999. Sandra has a true passion for human services and the agencies mission; to enrich the lives of individuals and families through cooperative opportunities, resources and advocacy which embrace diversity, promote empowerment and foster responsible citizenship.
