Utica, NY – June 3 2019 – We’re proud to announce that we have hired Shawn Johnston as our new Clinical Director. Johnston will oversee clinics in both Utica and Rome, where she will be responsible for clinical management of mental health services provided to children, youth and adults with behavioral healthcare needs as well as provide clinical direction, supervision, and leadership.
Johnston brings with her 10 years of clinical experience where she has managed complex cases, has been responsible for counseling and consultation services which include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients.

Johnston has her Masters of Social Work from SUNY Albany and experience includes working at Mohawk Valley Health Systems, ADHD and Autism Psychological Services and Advocacy, and MetLife. She resides in Oriskany, New York and has two children, ages 20 and 11 and her certified therapy dog, Riley.
