Utica, NY— Creo’s Bikes for Tykes Program, spearheaded by Bill Gately and The Neighborhood Center, is proud to announce its commitment to providing bicycles to at-risk youth in our community. Cycling represents more than just a way to get from point A to point B; it symbolizes independence, exploration, and the joy of movement. Creo’s Bikes for Tykes Program recognizes the transformative power of bicycles in the lives of at-risk youth, offering them opportunities for growth, empowerment, and connection.
Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield has generously partnered with the drive to provide safety gear to children who may not otherwise have access to such resources.
Bill Gately, the driving force behind Creo’s Bikes for Tykes Program, shares his vision for the initiative: “This will provide opportunities and experiences for those who otherwise would not have them, just as Pasquale J. Creo did for me when I was a young boy growing up in Utica.”
“The Neighborhood Center is excited to partner with Creo’s Bikes for Tykes Program in this vital initiative,” remarks Sandra Soroka, Executive Director of The Neighborhood Center. “With 119 years of service, we’re fortunate that our alumni continually remember and generously contribute to support our current generation.”
Creo’s Bikes for Tykes Program invites individuals and businesses alike to join in its mission of empowering at-risk youth through cycling. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young people and create a brighter, healthier future for our community.
