The Neighborhood Center is partnering with the Utica City School District to offer free enrollment for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. The qualifications for enrollment are children must be four years old by December 1st and live within the district.
In the Utica City School District: UPK morning or afternoon classes are offered September through June, and they follow the Utica City School District plan. UPK is held at three locations: The Neighborhood Center at 624 Elizabeth Street; the North Utica Senior Center at 50 Riverside Drive and Hugh R. Jones Elementary. The program at Hugh R. Jones will run on a full-day schedule.
