The Neighborhood Center, Inc. provides professional, state-of-the-art clinical, crisis, and community-based services  for children, youth, adults and their families that struggle with mental health and/or addiction as well as care management services for adults and youth and psycho-social management services for adults.

Staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals (including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, masters-level and bachelors-level therapists and counselors), our behavioral health care services build on your unique strengths to develop the best individualized outpatient treatment plans possible.

Adult Recovery Services

Program for any adult 18 and above with a Mental Health Diagnosis. Provides a safe and positive environment where members can socialize, obtain advice and support, develop job skills, and attend a wide variety of groups.

Family Ties

Provides short-term, intensive, outcome-driven service for children who are at risk of out-of-home placement and/or risk of placement in an alternative educational setting.

Behavioral Healthcare Clinics

Provides person-centered and evidence-based services for maximum effectiveness in resolving behavioral, social and emotional conditions that inhibit functioning and development.

Community Mental Health Promotion and Support (COMHPS)

Provides community engagement, mental health wellness promotion, individual screenings for mental health conditions, brief counseling, and referral to licensed mental health professionals.

Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT)

Contracting partnership of The Neighborhood Center, Inc. and the Oneida, Herkimer, Schoharie, Otsego, Delaware and Chenango Departments of Mental Health, working collaboratively with a number of community agencies and resources.

Children and Family Treatment and Support Services (CFTSS)

Provides preventative community-based mental health and substance use services to children (ages 0-21) and their families with an outcome of improving health, well-being, and quality of life.

Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment Services (CORE) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)

Each member receives individualized, one on one services provided at their home or in the community.

Care Management

The Care Management Program hopes to connect people with the services they need such as housing, a primary care doctor, mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, a dentist, and support for applying for public assistance programs.
