Meet Our Boards

We cannot express our gratitude enough to the dedicated & committed volunteers that serve on the Center's Board of Directors and our Foundation Board, The Marie A. Russo Neighborhood Center Institute.

The Neighborhood Center Child and Family Institute, Inc. was formed on December 3, 1999- a foundation formed to ensure the financial longevity of The Neighborhood Center, Inc. In April of 2002, the name of the Institute was changed to honor the legacy and former Executive Director Marie A. Russo.

The Marie A. Russo Neighborhood Center Institute Board is a foundation whose mission is to "solicit, receive, hold and administer gifts, manage investments and resources generated by the Institute and to do such other lawful acts and undertake such other enterprises for the sole purpose of support and benefit of The Neighborhood Center, Inc."

Institute acts as a conduit for developing individual & corporate gifts, planned giving, and other individual and corporate relationships to strengthen revenue streams and provide for discretionary funds for the Center. Discretionary funds are used by the Center to ensure the continuation of their grassroots and preventive programs.
