Full-time position with benefits with the Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT). Available shift is Monday thru’ Friday; 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Provide mobile mental health crisis services for children and adults in Oneida and Herkimer Counties. Flexibility and ability to work independently required. ARS EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PROGRAM COORDINATOR: New Program
Full-time position with benefits at Adult Recovery Services (ARS). Provides leadership for employment services staff, coordinate, and monitor work functions in the employment services program that meet best practice standards as evidenced by the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. Directs staff, as assigned, and assists with assessment and individual vocational planning. Functions as a community liaison with local employers and provide awareness/education regarding mental illness in the workplace, and to create job opportunity for clients. Knowledge of the mental health delivery system and community resources as well as community vocational resources. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a closely related Human Services field and three (3) years experience in the Mental Health Field required. EOE
 
ARS JOB COACH:  New Program
Full-time position with benefits at Adult Recovery Services (ARS). Provides vocational rehabilitation for persons diagnosed with mental illness. Utilizing the evidence-based practice of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, assess a client’s skills/background/barriers, and create an Individual Vocational Plan focusing on career planning/advancement. Responsible to assist clients in reaching goals through one-on-one visits, job site monitoring and coordination with employers, advocacy, promotion of increasing coping skills through psychiatric rehabilitation groups at ARS, linkage to additional resources, and coordination with local colleges. Responsible to involve the client’s entire support team in his/her vocational rehabilitation and work closely with the client’s mental health providers, care managers and family members. Must possess work experience demonstrating strong organizational, assessment and communication skills. Associate’s Degree in Human Services or closely related field and a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the Mental Health field required. EOE 

CHILD SERVICES ADVOCATE
Full-time position with benefits. Provide supportive services and information for victims of child sexual abuse and/or severe physical abuse and their non-offending family members. Responsibilities include conducting home, medical, legal and other collateral visits and accompanying clients to appointments and developing a coordinated response. Flexibility in schedule necessary and rotating on-call schedule required. Knowledge/experience with victim’s rights and advocacy with medical, legal and criminal justice systems. Knowledge of the Oneida County Department of Social Services delivery system and community resources. The Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT) has 1 part-time position without benefits (up to 19 hours per week) for Peer Advocate available. Additionally, this position will have some responsibilities within the Adult Recovery Services program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide a variety of peer support services with primary focus on mental health recovery and facilitating participation in treatment and positive decision-making. Co-facilitate groups and activities which foster individual development and empowerment. Conduct home visits and follow up as assigned.
